Assistant Media Buyer, Digital Investment

The Assistant Media Buyer, Digital Investment is a crucial position which requires an individual to work well within a team and be prepared for a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. This individual is expected to show resourcefulness, exhibit accountability, and understand their role well enough to work independently and demonstrate initiative. The AMB, Digital Investment is expected to be an active participant in meetings and day-to-day interactions with an increasing level of contribution as the experience builds.

The AMB, Digital Investment is responsible for establishing the daily digital buying activities and works closely with Buyers in negotiating, preparing, maintaining and stewarding our client’s digital media schedules.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a working knowledge of client’s media goals, guidelines and strategies
  • Input, maintain and reconcile digital media schedules accurately, by the dept. due dates
  • Enter buy summaries
  • Send insertion orders to digital media providers
  • Check insertion orders against client buy summary to ensure the schedule is entered correctly and alert the buyer of any variances
  • Maintain Digital Buy Summary in real time
  • Analyze delivery reports and pacing to ensure media is running as planned
  • Reconcile and clear invoices
  • Responsible for processing monthly billing
  • Establish a positive and professional working relationship with all Evergreen Trading staff, media vendors, partner Agencies and clients when applicable
  • Other ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Stay current with evolving marketplace trends
  • Problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions
  • Organized, and detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
  • Nimble and flexible to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle ad hoc requests
  • Strong team player
  • Interest and familiarity through use of digital media

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • BA/BS required
  • Previous experience/internship with a media services or Trade agency preferred
  • Advanced computer knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Focus on Digital industry trends
  • Strong writing, presentation and strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Able to work independently and have excellent time management skills
  • Problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions
