SVP, Merchandise Sales
“The future is unwritten.
In 2011, Bob joined Evergreen Trading after 20 years leading the Merchandise and Asset Sales department of a New York-based corporate trading company. Bob ran a team of 10 specialists doing work for a variety of Fortune 500 clients and selling over $150MM annually of very diverse assets and inventory into non-traditional, secondary channels. Bob’s responsibilities required him to find a “discreet and non-disruptive home” for many types of assets and inventories and handle the logistics for thousands of truckload and containers annually.
Bob began his career in Sales for Maytex Mills, eventually managing 54 rep firms selling programs to every major retail channel; such as Department stores, Mass Merchants, supermarket chains, drug store chains, home center chains, hardware chains, food and drug distributors, and exporters.
Bob’s experience in the corporate trade industry includes the domestic and international selling and logistics required for a wide variety of industries. In fact, if you challenge Bob to come up with an industry from which he’s never sold product, he’ll be hard pressed to give you an answer.
Bob is an avid cyclist, participating annually in the Colorado cycling races including the 120-mile Triple Bypass, the 78 mile Tour of the Moon, and the 80 mile Copper Triangle. He enjoys hiking the Adirondacks and Rockies, and frequently boasts of his 8 golf handicap.
