Are the promises of corporate trade too good to be true?

Constructing trustSomeone said to me yesterday that our claim to buy one of their real estate assets at greater than market value sounded too good to be true.

I honestly commend this individual for his candor. Unfortunately, not everyone is as honest and brave as this gentleman in admitting his disbelief in the promise of corporate trade. So, how is it possible to sell your excess inventory or surplus real estate at a price much higher than the market will bear?

To understand our purchase, you must first realize that your company and Evergreen Trading are engaging in a reciprocal arrangement. After all, if a buyer was willing to write you a check for your full asking price, you probably would have already sold the property, right? And that type of simple exchange of cash for your property is what most people are accustomed to. So when we claim to be able to pay you more than the market says your property is worth, you are justifiably suspect of our offer.

But, we can pay you more. To give you that higher value, however, we need to generate the necessary additional funds. Those funds come from Evergreen Trading placing a portion of your advertising. And that leads to the second bit of justifiable suspicion. How can we place your advertising the way you want it placed at your budgeted costs so that in the end it is as if your advertising agency or in-house people placed it themselves?

We’ve written a large amount of material on how we place uncompromised media for our clients. You can read our white paper entitled, Your Marketing Advantage, or some of the posts in our blog that speak to how media is bought through our partner Horizon Media. We recently wrote a post called “5 compelling reasons for Marketing to embrace trade” and have produced several very short entertaining videos that take you through our asset purchase and media buying processes. Are you getting the sense that we REALLY want you to clearly understand this?

We do. Too many people lose out on the tremendous value they can enjoy from trading with Evergreen Trading because they think what we do is too good to be true. All we ask is that you take a few moments to learn a bit more about this powerful process called corporate trade.
